By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Introduction

This website is owned and managed by Janani Jewels, with its Head Office located at 3rd Floor, Survey No. 408, Plot No. 6-9, Bambawadi, Nr. Shyam Marble, Katargam Road, Surat – 395004 and Branch Offices in Surat and Mumbai.

By accessing or using the services of www.jananijewels.com, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, which may be updated or modified from time to time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. These Terms shall remain in force for as long as you use the website.

All rights, including copyright of this website and its contents, belong exclusively to Janani Jewels. Reproduction, copying, or storage of any part of this website without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

2. Eligibility Criteria

Only retail jewellers who are legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and Indian Companies Act, 1956 are eligible to use this website. Individuals below the age of 18 years are not permitted to use, purchase, or contract through this platform.

Users accessing the website from outside India are solely responsible for complying with local laws. In cases where any Indian state restricts direct sales from outside its jurisdiction or requires special documentation, Janani Jewels reserves the right to accept or reject such orders.

3. Order Policy

  • Orders will be accepted only against an advance payment of 20% of the total order value.

  • Order processing will begin only upon receipt of the advance payment.

  • Refer to the Cancellation Policy (Section 7) for cancellation rules.

  • Orders will be delivered according to product-specific delivery timelines.

  • Any delay due to design changes or alterations will be communicated prior to processing.

  • Once an order is delivered, payment must be made immediately upon receipt. (See Payment Policy – Section 6).

4. Pricing

Pricing is based on prevailing market rates of precious metals at the time of manufacturing. The final price of precious metals will be fixed before delivery with mutual agreement between both parties. 

The prices of diamonds, labour, and other add-ons (such as pearls or gemstones) are fixed at the time of placing the order. Prices listed on the website are subject to change without prior notice. 

5. Shipping Policy 

  • Janani Jewels provides fully insured shipping within India.
  • Buyers are advised to carefully inspect the parcel upon delivery and report any damages immediately.
  • Free shipping is available for orders above ₹2,00,000 within India.
  • Deliveries will only be made to valid street addresses (not P.O. Box addresses).

6. Payment Policy

  • Full payment must be made immediately upon receipt of the order.
  • Any delay in payment will attract an interest charge of 18% p.a.
  • All cheque payments must be crossed and made payable to Janani Jewels.
  • Payment for gold must be made in advance.
  • Payment for labour must be made upon delivery.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of placement without penalty.

  • Cancellations made after 48 hours will incur a 10% charge of the total order value.

  • Cancellations of customised designs will incur an additional 5% charge of the order value.

8. Certifications

Janani Jewels provides certification from the following authorities, the cost of which will be borne by the buyer:

  • GIA

  • IGI

  • SGL

  • BIS Hallmark

9. Restrictions

Janani Jewels reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit the quantity or value of items purchased. Restrictions may apply to orders using the same account, credit/debit card, billing, or shipping address. Customers will be notified if such restrictions are applied.

We also reserve the right to refuse sales to any individual or entity without prior notice.

10. Fraudulent Transactions

Janani Jewels reserves the right to recover the cost of goods, collection charges, and legal fees from individuals engaged in fraudulent activity. Legal action may be initiated against such persons for misuse of the website or breach of these Terms.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, civil unrest, acts of authority, or other unforeseen events. Affected parties must notify the other and take reasonable steps to fulfil obligations wherever possible.

12. Liability

Janani Jewels accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the online ordering service or goods supplied through it, except where required by applicable law, even if the possibility of such loss or damage was brought to our attention.
